Projects
Featured on this page is a previewed collection of all of the engineering-based projects I have worked on as an engineering student! Feel free to explore the ideas and concepts I have tackled over the years!
Personal Project - 2017-2018
This project focused on changing the shape of a classic cubicle to reduce ambient sound in an open-plan office space. It won a 3rd Place/Honorary Mention Award in the Materials Science category at the St. Mary's County Science and Engineering Fair in Jan. 2018.
Personal Project - 2018-2019
This project focused on mobilizing wall cabinet units to easier maximize their storage space, as well as make them more accessible for those who were disabled/physically impaired. It competed in the Engineering Mechanics category at the St. Mary's County Science and Engineering Fair in Jan. 2019.
Rocketry Project - Fall 2019
This class challenge focused on the design, research, creation, and testing of a miniature rocket. Utilizing SolidWorks and 3D-printing resources in our lab, my group of three women created "The Artemis" - a rocket with parts designed to hold a quail egg cargo and protect it during and after launch.
SolidWorks Final Project - Fall 2020
This class challenge was our final project for our CAD unit in Intro. to Engineering at the College of Southern Maryland. Utilizing SolidWorks, teams of four and five were given an abstract base part and a goal to create more parts that would assemble with the base to create a perfect cube, thus creating "The Puzzle Cube".
